Cargo traffic: Frankfurt, Paris, Amsterdam, London… more and more leaders in the airports, but a strong growth is also recorded in other major airports in the world. Milan is an example.
The good performance of the world trade of materials for electronic industry is at the origin of the air cargo expansion. “Demand growth (…), bolstered by strengthening export orders, outpaced the capacity growth which should be positive for yields. And, longer-term, the entry into force of the Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA) will cut red tape at the borders for faster, cheaper and easier trade. The onus is now on the industry to seize the opportunity to accelerate the modernization of processes to make air cargo an even more compelling option for shippers”, said Alexandre de Juniac, IATA’s Director General and CEO.
And now airport operators are called to find development strategies for cargo areas; Air Alliance has the rights skills to identify modernization processes in accordance with high standards of quality and safety.
